The day after I returned from St.Maarten, I attended a beautiful wedding on a farm in the middle of no where (near Woodstock, Ontario) and it was one of the most amazing weddings I have ever had the honor of attending. About 10 years ago, Sarah was my first ever intern when I styled fashion shows for Toronto Fashion Week. She is also my former Fashionably Yours employee and one of the sweetest women I know. She is currently in charge of event planning at this cool restaurant in Liberty Village called School Toronto. She got hitched to her long time bf Blake and put together all the creative details herself. (along with her handy husband). I was utterly impressed and had a blast with Michelle, one of my current FY employees. I’ve never been on a farm and I wasn’t entirely sure what to wear, so Michelle and I decided to both wear long dresses for the occassion…surely it wasn’t your average farm. lol. It was my longtime friend Wayne Warner’s Annual Birthday Celebration at Maison Mercer, the beautiful new Toronto ‘it’ spot. It was also my BFF Karen’s birthday, which gave me good reason to throw on some sequin bling for the occasion. I scored this fabulous dress from Fashionably Yours (of course) and apparently it’s a sample from French Connection in the UK. Since it’s been unusually chilly lately, this dress was perfect, but truthfully, I’m really looking forward to saying good-bye to anything in my closet with sleeves! Spring, where art thou?

I’m obsessed with big oversized knits this season, but the only problem is that it’s been an unusually warm November, so I haven’t had much opportunity to wear any of them. Last night, I attended the Media Preview for the launch of Kate Moss for Topshop, Topman & Topshop Makeup at Jonathan & Olivia (located at 49 Ossington in Toronto). The collections debut to the public today so be sure to swing by and check it out. You must know by now that I love Topshop, so I rolled through to do some private shopping and as per usual, scored some amazing pieces, including some fancy Topshop nail polish from their new makeup collection. You’ll see.
