I’m a little obsessed with Fendi bikinis lately. I first discovered them in a cute little boutique in SXM and have been on a hunt for more ever since. This one’s my favourite with the monogram print and color block trim. Buying bikinis has always been a chore, not just because of the drudging task of finding one that flatters your body, but also because it’s a bit of a challenge (in Canada at least) to find sexy Brazilian cut bottoms. Fendi makes them just right. Now, back to the real world…it’s freezing out today. xo

Shot underwater with my Canon S95 Camera with Waterproof Case

Check out my favourite new little travel gadget…the Canon S95 Waterproof Camera Case. I brought this along with me on my recent trip to SXM and it was a smashing hit. I use several different cameras for different reasons but my absolute favorite go-to camera is the Canon S95. It has a ton of useful functions, performs excellent in low light conditions, is really easy to use, but most of all it’s super compact, compared to my bulky SLR cameras. I recently upgraded from the S90 which I ruined in the sand & beach on my last trip to St.Maarten but find that the S90 & S95 give exactly the same quality but with a few convenient cosmetic changes on the S95. I recently discovered this amazing waterproof casing for the Canon S95, on a hunt for a compact waterproof camera, but I really didn’t want to sacrifice quality. All the camera’s buttons are fully functional and it’s extremely durable, perfect for the beach, pool, or sand. xo

Every year, my friend Ania & I meet the first week of December to celebrate her birthday. It’s a ritual that gives us a reason to spend quality time. Last year, we went wild in Las Vegas. This year, we chose St.Maarten (SXM), since we had such a blast in September. She gathered a crew of girls from Miami, Toronto & New York and we all met in SXM for some fun in the sun. Winny & I had a pimped out suite at the Caravanserai Beach Resort. Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit, but we caught as much sun as we could, ate way too much, partied with my friend DJ Wikked (who is the resident DJ at the hotspot Tantra SXM), and participated in “Extreme Zip-lining” at the beautiful Loterie Farm (one of my favourite places in SXM). It was nice to get a few days off from @ShopFY, before the hustle & bustle of Christmas. xo

My dear friend DJ WIKKED spent a few weeks as guest DJ at Tanta SXM (St. Maarten), so of course Ania & I rolled through to support. It was good times all around in SXM. This super cute pink romper by Rachel Roy has been sitting in my closet waiting for somewhere fun to rock it.

If you have never been to St.Martin (French West Indies) and ever decide to visit, there’s one place you should consider and that’s Loterie Farm Nature Reserve. Whether you like nature or extreme sports or neither, you will love Loterie Farm. It’s a secret hideway nestled in the hillside of Pic Paradis on the French Saint Martin. It’s an unforgettable place where you can wine, dine, climb, hike and glide over the treetops. We booked the one hour Fly Zone which included zip-lining, climbing and other obstacles through mountains. No big deal, except that I didn’t pack sneakers and don’t own flats, so I went on a mission to find something functional for me to Zip-line in and lucked out and found these super cute Chanel sneakers!!! Now  I was ready to concur nature’s best. Ania & I zipped from tree to tree like monkeys and literally flew through mountains. It was wild and I will definitely go back and attempt the Extreme 2 hour Fly Zone next time. After an hour of hard work in the sweltering hot sun, we headed to L’eaulounge (located on Loterie Farm), which is a private cabana enclave featuring a natural spring fed swimming pool & Jacuzzi. The water felt like silk & it was one of the most tranquil places I have ever been. Simply a perfect day with great company. Thanks Loterie Farm. We’ll surely be back soon xo

I took an impromptu trip to the Carribean, the beautiful St.Maarten, to spend time with my dear good friend Ania. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about SXM so it was definitely on my hit list of places to visit hence I took a few days off from @shopFY and hopped on a plane for yet another random trip. We stayed on this beautiful beach front oasis with our own private beach and from the picture perfect blue water to the daily fresh seafood, I was in Heaven. We jammed packed a lot into our short vacation and was surrounded by unbelievable sights and sounds, of which we captured hundreds of photos, but here’s few for now. More SXM updates coming soon.
