I got this BCBG Max Azria vibrant yellow dress at the beginning of the summer and finally got a chance to wear it, to the Holt Renfrew & Bustle Show on Day 1 of LG Fashion Week. I’ve been wearing a lot of black lately, so I was in the mood to brighten things up a bit.

I threw on this Gucci scarf / shawl which is my absolute favorite thing I bought from Holt Renfrew’s Private Shopping night. There was only one available and I pre-purchased it because I just had to have this amazing creation!! I have an extensive collection of silk and knit scarves but what made this one so special, was the super soft silk & wool blend, subtle print and strategically placed fox fur detail, making this a super versatile addition to my fall/winter wardrobe.
This was the shoe to guess for this week’s $100 SHOE WEEKLY FY GIVEAWAY!! Follow @Shopfy & @GetJanet for your chance to win $100 CREDIT at Fashionably Yours. Click photo for details.

Rihanna wore this dress while shooting the cover of Seventeen Magazine in the August 2010 issue and also picture here on the BCBG Max Azria SS1o runway at Style.com.

I’m completely obsessed with silk scarves and wear one any chance I get, all different ways and for all different occasions, so I was super stoked when I discovered that two of my favourite Parisian retailers Hermes & Colette joined forces on a scarf collection titled “J’aime Mon Carre“. I love my scarf. I truly love my scarves, so if theres one scarf I must have in my collection, it’s one of these.
The collection released yesterday, September 27th until October 16th, 2010 available at Colette.fr.
The idea behind this project was created from the mind of Hermès’ “artistic director of silk”, Bali Barret, to document the phenomenon of the traditional silk square of which the Hermes scarf is famous for. British photgrapher Matt Irwin travelled to 4 capitals to create a fanzine with art director, Dean Langley and stylist, Francesca Burns around 4 girls and their lives and loves – friends, lovers, places and their scarves.
www.jaimemoncarre.com is a super cute website which launched simultaneously with the release of the first “J’aime Mon Carre” which highlights the adventures of the girls with photos, films from each city and most importantly “how to” tie your scarf”, with special Hermes knotting cards and a full listing of Hermes events and a link to the Hermes Facebook page.

How amazing is this huge Hermes display inside Colette? It opens up to a room full of Hermes silk scarves!!!

I love my scarves even more now!
