On day one at Project Show LV, I wanted to be super comfy, so I threw on lace shorts, an oversized blazer and wedges. I spent the entire day from about 8:30am till about 6pm, running around, snapping photos and catching up with some of my favourite brands and caught up on some much needed blogging.

I took another quick trip to St.Maarten to celebrate my dear friend Ania‘s birthday, but this time with my girl WInny & a crew of girls from Toronto, Miami & New York. I love traveling but I’m a horrible packer, so I’m always trying to find efficient ways to pack and in the process have managed to collect a ton of various travel accessories to help keep me organized. My favourite is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Pegase 55 Business Rolling Luggage. It’s the perfect carry-on size, fits everything I need in case my suitcase gets lost, has an outside pocket to fit my computer (and wires) and rolls effortlessly. I brought this with me to SXM along with my super convenient little Louis Vuitton Eva cross-body clutch & vintage Chanel black quilted duffel bag…all timeless, durable & stylish. Be sure to check out Fashionably Yours.com for a great selection of authentic Louis Vuitton luggage, discounted from 30% – 70% off retail prices. Stay tuned for my SXM Photo Diary…xo

Global TV News visited Fashionably Yours to chat with me about all the wonderful authentic luxury designer bags available for sale in my store and some of my favorite FY finds. The segment was inspired by the launch of Tiffany & Co‘s newest handbag collection and the popularity and obsession with the ‘It’ handbag. Lifestyle reporter Minna Rhee interviewed Flare Magazine‘s Fashion Director Liz Cabral at Holt Renfrew, discussed $4000 Celine bags, then wanted to show viewers that they can get luxury for less at Fashionably Yours, where we offer hundreds of authentic designer bags, discounted from 30% – 80% off retail prices. Check out some behind-the-scenes clips from the shoot. A big huge shout out to Minna Rhee, Sandy (the camera man) and Global TV News for taking the time to feature my store. xoxo

The day after I returned from St.Maarten, I attended a beautiful wedding on a farm in the middle of no where (near Woodstock, Ontario) and it was one of the most amazing weddings I have ever had the honor of attending. About 10 years ago, Sarah was my first ever intern when I styled fashion shows for Toronto Fashion Week. She is also my former Fashionably Yours employee and one of the sweetest women I know. She is currently in charge of event planning at this cool restaurant in Liberty Village called School Toronto. She got hitched to her long time bf Blake and put together all the creative details herself. (along with her handy husband). I was utterly impressed and had a blast with Michelle, one of my current FY employees. I’ve never been on a farm and I wasn’t entirely sure what to wear, so Michelle and I decided to both wear long dresses for the occassion…surely it wasn’t your average farm. lol. Check out the super cute photos…
OUTFIT: Topshop long blue silk dress, Hermes Constance belt, Louis Vuitton Feerique 14kt gold heels, Hermes Medor Watch, Fendi cuff, Chanel beige lambskin flap, Chanel vintage choker, Chanel earrings

They turned this barn that was once filled with machinery into….

Cutest seating chart ever on these glass window panes!!

The sunset was stunning & so was Michelle. She got this gorgeous ombre BCBG maxi dress from Fashionably Yours!

Candy bar….Sarah & Blake love candy!

Congratulations Sarah & Blake. Love you guys. xoxo

People are always astounded by how much I pack whilst traveling. As much as I love clothes, I’m totally obsessed with accessories and have managed to collect a lot of everything over the years. Some people collect art. I collect designer accessories & platform shoes. I get rid of a lot of my clothing every season, but accessories last decades. To me, accessories are every day essentials and without them I feel naked. Here’s just a few goodies I packed for my trip to Vegas & New York. Absolutely necessary for 8 days of frolicking.

From Top to Bottom: Chole, YSL Vintage, Gucci Vintage, Leonard Paris Vintage, YSL Vintage, Marni.

Louis Vuitton toiletry bags are an absolute travel must-have. I use them to keep my accessories, makeup & toiletries organized in my suitcase & carry-on. They are extremely durable & most of them even have a washable interior with bottle holders. I would highly recommend you invest in one or two or three of these for every day or travel. There’s an amazing selection available now in several shapes & sizes at Fashionably Yours, for much less than retail.

The Louis Vuitton Eden Runway Speedy, my go-to travel bag with Louis Vuitton Accessories Pouchette which I use for every day make-up & my Louis Vuitton Cellphone case which was originally produced only one year to hold a Motorolla Flip phone back in the 90′s, but just happen to fit my Blackberry perfectly!! I love this little thing.

Options.

Spring has finally decided to grace us with some warm, sunny weather. With that, comes patios, slushy drinks, and my favourite Louis Vuitton wedges. Finally!!
My most ultimate go-to summer sandals are my Louis Vuitton cork wedges from the Spring 2010 & 2011 collection. My first pair were the classic monogram, fittingly named ‘Be Happy’ Wedges that I loved so much (I even got them re-soled!), so I bought the “Be Happy” White Multicolor Wedges (which seem to go with everything this season), then was super stoked when I discovered that they debuted the“Summer Time” Patent Wedges (pictured in green) and the ‘Oasis’ Monogram T-Strap Wedges (pictured in black) for Spring 2011. Despite the 5″+ height, these shoes are the most comfortable wedges in my closet hands down and worth every pretty penny. Fingers crossed that they’ll bring these back next season. Clearly, I just can’t get enough of these!

This week I shot an episode of “Princess” on Slice TV at my Designer Consignment Boutique Fashionably Yours. The premise of this reality show TV series is one where the host Gail Vaz-Oxlade (from the hit series Til Debt Do Us Part), tackles the newest generation of spoiled spenders and over a six week period, confiscates the Princess’s credit cards, limits their cash and challenges them with tasks (thankfully, not me!). The Princess Corrine was given the challenge of bringing her items to sell on consignment at Fashionably Yours, so the camera captured our appointment, where I assessed her items for sale, which included a couple Louis Vuitton items and several party dresses. My FY team and I had so much fun prepping the store and caught some good laughs. I’m not sure when it’s airing yet, but I’ll keep you posted. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look…

Negotiating a price for her Louis Vuitton Keepall 50 (with strap), available for purchase here.
