Beautifully crafted shoes such as these are works of art that are meant to be cherished and enjoyed, perhaps painfully by the looks of these, but well worth the wow factor. Lanvin has launched its amazing new European online store, appropriately name e-Lanvin! Whilst browsing through this store, the distinct contemporary, romantic style of Alber Elbaz is evident throughout each of the collections showcased in this new e-Lanvin e-store. Front and center of the page, is the ♥ Hot Picks section, which highlights the must-haves of the season. Other categories include New Arrivals, Women, Men, Blanche, Exclusive and Gifts, where you can even find playing cards decorated with Alber Elbaz’s sketches, Miss Lanvin key chains, elegant music boxes and a limited edition selection of the famous porcelain dolls (my personal must-have). And then there’s the Blanche collection, the dreamy bridal collection of dresses, accessories and bridal cards. Oh, what a dream!

The new Lanvin e-store has even considered the gentlemen with a full selection of ready to wear apparel, bags, shoes & accessories, leaving no stone unturned. I love a man in Lanvin, especially Lanvin sneakers. Every man should own a pair.

It’s safe to say that Lanvin has covered all its bases with this new online revolution, except that it won’t be available to us Canadians, at least not just yet.

Being that I live in Canada, this dynamic new European e-Lanvin store,  still leaves me longing for more…more Lanvin that is. Sigh.

The much anticipated Lanvin for H&M Collection launched at 7am on Saturday morning at H&M locations across Canada and the United States. I just happen to drive by the Eaton Centre location in Toronto at around 7pm the night before and noticed that people had already started camping outside. Wow! The collection is definitely sweet but I can’t imagine wanting something so bad that I would camp outside 12 hours for, but crowds around the globe did just that, in hopes to get their hands on a piece (or two or ten) of affordable Lanvin luxury.

Thankfully, my Fashionably Yours‘ supastar JayStrut volunteered to document the madness and do some shopping on my behalf. The H&M PR peeps were so great and did all that they could to make the experience fun. I was pretty much on the phone with him the entire time, guiding him through my list that I put together from the Media Launch. And then we spent the day working at Fashionably Yours and at the end of a jammed packed day at the store, we played dress up with all of our favourites from the collection, in my opinion, the best H&M collaboration to date.

Last night, the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) hosted the Toronto Media Preview of the much anticipated LANVIN x H&M Collection, which is slated to launch publicly on November 20/2010 in North America and on November 23/2010 worldwide. This exclusive collaboration will make available the absolute essence of Lanvin to H&M retail outlets in 200 countries around the world. Within the separate collection for both men and women, Alber Elbaz (creative director of Lanvin), brings the Parisian glamor to life at very affordable prices and translates the “dream of luxury” to the mainstream world.

I had the opportunity to attend the preview, mingled with Toronto’s media & fashion regulars, sipped on lavender lemonade cocktails, nibbled on some very yummy h’ordeuvres, took a million fun pictures (of course), played a little bit of dress up and made a list of some of my LANVIN x H&M must-haves! It was an intimate, but fun event and at the end of it all, they gave away sweet gift bags containing an over-sized bow-tie, bright red lipstick & a full look book/notebook & CD. They were kind enough to give me a couple extra to give my Twitter friends an opportunity to WIN this fabulous gift bag by playing my weekly $100 SHOE DAILY. Lanvin for H&M released a Fashion Show Short Film just hours ago, adding to the hype of the highly anticipated Lanvin for H&M collection which is set to release on November 20 in North America & November 23 in the rest of the world in over 200 countries. The woman’s collection consists of 30 pieces of clothing and 15 accessories including hats, sunglasses, handbags, footwear and lipstick. I cringe at the thought of the line and chaos this is gonna cause amongst the fashion hard ups.

Spring comes early when your Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, who wore this gorgeous ensemble from the Lanvin Spring 2011 RTW Collection designed by Alber Elbaz, hot off the press from Paris Fashion Week! Speaking of Lanvin, I’ll be in NYC again for New York Fashion Week and one of the things I’m excited about is visiting the new Lanvin flagship Store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side on Madison Avenue & 68th Street.

In September, the two top floors of this 6,875 square foot landmark townhouse will be home to Lanvin’s corporate office and the first three floors will boast their stunning 3,550 square foot retail boutique.

It will likely take me a while to take in all that Lanvin NYC has to offer, and whilst inside my imagination will surely run wild. I’m inspired by many people & things, but beautiful storefront windows and retail spaces have always inspired me to dream…dream bigger than life. If I’m lucky (really really lucky), I might even do some shopping. I’ll be sure to keep you posted…xo
