On day one at Project Show LV, I wanted to be super comfy, so I threw on lace shorts, an oversized blazer and wedges. I spent the entire day from about 8:30am till about 6pm, running around, snapping photos and catching up with some of my favourite brands and caught up on some much needed blogging.

Before I finally gave in to the pressure of my beating heart and purchased my Hermes Orange Birkin 35, I tested out the waters (and my wallet) with this beautiful Hermes Red Kelly 32cm Bag. I’ve had a love affair with red bags for years and clearly it’s going to be a lifetime affair. A Hermes Kelly bag takes 18hrs to produce and is made by one single craftsman. So to whomever took the time to delicately craft my red Kelly bag, know that I appreciate every tender loving minute you spent on it. xo

I wore this to the Blackberry 7 Media Launch Party and ended up on the Crackberry.com website the next morning with Crackberry Kevin. The event took place on August 3/2011 in Toronto. I guess I’m reminiscing of the amazing summer I had. One day I’ll get caught up on my summer blog posts.

On our last night in Vegas, we celebrated at the Karmaloop Official SLATE party with Pusha-T at Haze Nightclub, where Pusha-T performed and showed the crowd a really good time. It was one of those nights when the music was poppin & the crowd was hype, so we danced all night and didn’t want it to end. Oh but it did, and then just like that our short little 4 day trip to Vegas was about to be over. I wore this animal print tube dress with a neon blazer, which obviously didn’t stay on very long and by the end of the night, I was definitely in need of a foot massage after dancing for hours in my sky high Jimmy Choo stiletto wedges.
OUTFIT: Topshop Animal Print tube dress, Neon Orange Crop blazer, Jimmy Choo Nude Stilletto Ellie Wedges, Chanel Neon Green 2.55 Flap, Chanel Vintage Pendant Necklace, Red Hermes Collier de Chein, Hermes H Clic Clak, Chanel Watch. Chanel earrings.

The Jimmy Choo Nude Ellie Stiletto Wedges…the comfort of a wedge with the illusion of sky high stilettos. Brilliant. I just had to have them.

The Jimmy Choo Vienna Wedge Sandals were at the top of my shoe list of Spring/Summer 2011 must haves. I spotted these on the Jimmy Choo ad campaign at the beginning of the season and scoured the world wide web to find these tassled, animal print beauties. Lucky for me, these 5″ wedges are surprisingly comfortable because at a whopping retail price of $1100, I took a chance by ordering them online. My shoe angel must have been watching over me.
I recently wore these when shooting an episode of the reality show “Princess” on Slice TV and expect that these will be getting a lot of mileage this summer!!

When Slice TV asked me to film an episode of the Reality TV Series “Princess” at Fashionably Yours and suggested that I wear bright colors for the camera, I happily obliged (as long as I wasn’t asked to play the part of “Princess”). Considering the fact that it’s been raining for more than 9 days straight, a pop of color added just the sunshine I needed to brighten up these past gloomy days.

New & Vintage Hermes scarves available for purchase here.

I’m wearing…
BLAZER: Zara neon pink blazer
LEGGINGS: Topshop
BLOUSE: Evil Twin leopard over-sized blouse
BRACELETS: Hermes x Links
RING: Chanel
BELT: Hermes “H” belt in yellow (Fashionably Yours)
PURSE: Gucci 1973 cross body bag (Gucci)
SANDALS: Jimmy Choo Vienna Wedge Sandal

I’ve been slacking on my blog posts as of late, but I’ve pretty much spent the month of January moving into my new home, furniture shopping and building a dream closet (finally)!! Perhaps I’ll show you the finished product once I’m settled. With a little pressure from my friends and readers (I read your comments!!), I realize that the blogging must go on. After more than 4 years of blogging, I still enjoy it, but the catch 22 of blogging is that the busier you are, the more you have to blog about and the more difficult blogging becomes at times. I once read that, “The more we do, the more we can do, the more busy we are, the more leisure we have”. This is where I need to be. lol.
Here’s an outfit I wore to work and and a couple of after work events the other day. It was a good excuse to wear my YSL Palais Block Heel Boots again (the amazing cutout wedge boots shot by fashion photographer Tommy Ton from Jak & Jil) and my Jimmy Choo Tatum fringe bag, one of the fun & flirty bags in my collection of over-sized bags. Fringe always seems to make its way in and out of fashion, but whether in or out this season, I’ve always been a fan of fringe, when done right.

I’m loving my Lanvin for H&M shades but wish I had more sunny hours in the day to enjoy these fully. I’m anxiously awaiting Spring.

Photographed by Tommy Ton of Jak & Jil Blog for the Pic Me event at Holt Renfrew…

When most people think Miami South Beach, they think clubs, parties, good food & beautiful beaches. All I can think of when I think of Miami is The Bal Harbour Shops. Not only is Bal Harbour Shops a one stop shop for almost every luxury retailer in the world (almost), it’s a gorgeous outdoor mall with an indoor feel. That place is truly my Heaven on Earth. I must have spent more than 8 hours there and the only reason why I left was because it closed. lol. Anyhow, here’s a few pics from my little escapade.

Christian Dior had a 50% off sale on the most amazing shoes from their Spring/Summer 2010 Runway Collection. I had to pinch myself.

On my feet, Versace Spring / Summer 2010 Runway Platforms!! An amazing work of art.

On my feet, Versace Fall 2010 multi-color platform shoes!! A special order from the Caesar’s Palace Forum Shops in Las Vegas. These colors will surely come in handy.

Red bottoms by shoe genius Cesare Paciotti.

Jimmy Choo Hunter boots for a rainy day!

After shopping dinner at Carpaccio, one of my favorite Miami eats.

The waiter brought this purse rack over to our table. Every restaurant needs this.

8 hours later and still smiling.

Damage

I hate saying good-bye to all the pretty shoe boxes when I travel.

Shoes, shoes & more shoes which miraculously all fit inside my suitcase. Amen.
