Line Knitwear closed LG Fashion Week on Friday to a packed house of fashion industry heavy hitters with a stunning collection entitled “Migrant Muse”, inspired by European settlers and the clothes they wore as they traveled to the new world. Since its inception in 2000, I have collected some of the coziest Line knits in my everyday wardrobe, some of which have become timeless go-to items in my closet.
Toronto based designers John Muscat and Jennifer Wells successfully create another luxurious collection of their signature knits, chunky crochets, silks, layers and layers of floor length looks with the addition of ultra glamorous fur (my guilty pleasure). I can only imagine the mastery that goes into the creation of the intricate workings of knit and jersey. I was seated front row next to FDCC (Fashion Design Council of Canada) president Robin Kay and were in awe of some of the amazing details that these photos don’t even begin to do justice.
Thanks to Robin Kay, (FDCC President) for the awesome front row seats and another amazing week of fun & fashion in Toronto.

Greta Constantine Fashion Shows are always a highly anticipated crowd favorite, of course because of their display of their “accessible luxury line of ready-to-wear womenswear” but also because of the socialite and celebrity crowd they attract, so its always fun to mingle in the crowd of a Greta Constantine event and catch up with old and new friends. And the fact that they had supermodel Coco Rocha walk their runway of their Spring Summer 2011 Show was the cherry on top. It was good times on a Friday night. xo
Fefe Dobson looks fabulous! I dressed Fefe back in the day before her first album even came out and again when she opened one of my crazy Rock & Roll fashion shows during Toronto Fashion Week 2006, so we go way back and it’s always great running into her.
Adrian Carew is the man the man behind the amazing serpentine hair at the Greta Constantine show, along with the rest of his crew at Hair 2 Inc in Yorkville. He’s also one of my fab customers at Fashionably Yours and popped into the store on Sunday for a visit, did some shopping and sent me this great pic of him and Coco Rocha!! Love it.

October 15, 2010…Toronto
Last night I attended the Greta Constantine Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Show in Toronto where the oh so amazing @Oh_So_Coco supermodel Coco Rocha strutted her stuff down the runway. Designers Kirk Pickersgill and Stephen Wong presented a brilliant collection of their Grecian dresses & gowns fit for a Goddess and brought out a massive crowd of Toronto’s Fashion A-listers. There wasn’t an empty seat in sight and no standing room available. Here’s a little glimpse before I post the party pics! Kudos boys. xoxo
Coco Rocha opens the show!
Our friend Paolo, Canada’s favorite Givenchy – Vogue supermodel. I’ve styled Paolo in the past for fashion shows and editorials and he just seems to get hotter and hotter. It’s just crazy.
Adrian Carew and crew did an awesome job on the hair!!!
I must have this magical red one-shoulder creation!
I spy George Antonopoulos, Geeki Girl, Suzanne Rogers, Joeffer Caoc front row….
I was sitting next to Glen Baxter (from Fashion Television)….
After the ‘God Save the Queen‘ Event at The Room (at the Bay), we quickly headed to the Art of Progression event presented by Audi at Brick Works where they featured 3 runway shows by NADA, Joeffer Caoc & Dimitri Chris. The venue was grand and it was also outdoors so we froze our butts off in the name of fashion. Its safe to say that Toronto Fashion Week is here early. I’m not complaining. I just love anything that gives me a reason to get dressed up and get fancy with a crowd who appreciates fancy.

Casie Stewart, (sassy blond front and centre) is the winner of Virgin Airline Provacateur contest!!! Congrats Casie, she’s awesome.
