I was on the hunt for sparkly shoes to go with my sparkly New Years Eve dress and just when I almost gave up, I found these Gieseppe Zanotti Swarvski Crystal ‘No Heel’ Platform Shoes. I gasped at the first sight of these. They were everything I imagined minus the heel. There’s just something so magical about the missing heel and although it felt almost sinful to dish out $2000 for shoes without a heel, I just couldn’t resist. I really wanted to start 2012 off on the right foot. xo

I was recently asked to give my expertise on “How to Buy the IT Bag” featured in The Toronto Star’s “The Kit Magazine”. The photos of me and my little puppy Chloe were shot on location at Fashionably Yours, my Toronto Designer Consignment Boutique. I’m a little obsessed with Fendi bikinis lately. I first discovered them in a cute little boutique in SXM and have been on a hunt for more ever since. This one’s my favourite with the monogram print and color block trim. Buying bikinis has always been a chore, not just because of the drudging task of finding one that flatters your body, but also because it’s a bit of a challenge (in Canada at least) to find sexy Brazilian cut bottoms. Fendi makes them just right. Now, back to the real world…it’s freezing out today. xo

JayZ & Kanye were in town for the Watch the Throne Tour which took place on November 24th & 25th at the ACC in Toronto. I attended both nights. One night with my girls & the other night with my FY boys. I’ve seen both JayZ & Kanye in concert several times in different cities and they never cease to amaze me with their talent. We had exceptional seats so I captured a ton of great photos. After the jump on the first night, we rolled through a private after party put on by my dear friend Wayne Warner at The Thompson Hotel. I walked in just as Jigga got there and the rest is history. Good times were had.

Nicola Formichetti of Thierry Mugler visited Toronto’s The Room at The Bay on Tuesday, November 17/11, alongside his creative team & women’s designer Sébastien Peigné. Nicola is not only the Creative Director of Thierry Mugler, he is also the creative consultant for Uniglo, fashion director for Vogue Hommes, Japan and celebrity stylist responsible for the elaborately outrageous album & video style of super star Lady Gaga. That’s quite an impressive resume for a 34 year old who’s budding career has really just begun.

I had chance to chat with him (along with my Fashionably Yours‘ boy JayStrut) and on top of being super talented & undeniably sexy, he was exceptionally gracious and humble.

Faulhaber PR celebrated their 10 Year Anniversary on Wed, Nov 9/11, held at Neubacher Shor Contemporary Gallery which featured the unveiling of Project F, a series of images created by photographer Christopher Wadsworth and illustrator Matt Forsyte. Faulhaber is a boutique Public Relations agency specializing in Lifestyle Clientele.

My buddy Minna Rhee & I were both invited so we decided to make it a fun date night, along with my two Fashionably Yours’ staff JayStrut & Richard. It was a fun little soiree with tasty snacks, papparazzi & lots of familiar fashion regulars. I’m behind on my blogging again but I’ve been working super duper extra hard (before and after a recent vacation to the Carribean). I’m in the process of revamping this site, but in the meantime, I’ll do my best to catch up. xo

I attended the annual birthday celebration of my homegirl & party promoter Mona of Lady Luck Entertainment. The party took place at Tattoo Rock Parlour and the music was provided by homies DJ Holiday (Atlanta) & DJ Wikked (Toronto/SXM). It was wild. Happy Birthday Mona!! I wore this skimpy dress by Motel Rocks and my sky high Lady Dafs and fit right in with the scantily clad crowd that Lady Luck parties are infamous for.
