On day four of LG Fashion Week in Toronto, I just wanted to be warm, having froze the night before. I almost didn’t make it to the shows after a jammed packed day @ShopFY. We’ve been booked back to back with consignment appointments which happens every time the seasons change. I was in desperate need of a hair cut so I ran over to see Daniel of Salon Daniel, not only one of the city’s best veteran stylists, but truly one of the most charming people I have ever known. He takes the pain out of cutting my hair. After a little snip, I headed over to the LGFW tents at David Pecaut Square watch the Bustle & Valk show.

I’ve always been a fan of the Celine Luggage Tote but was never so inclined to buy one until a recent visit to Barney’s in NYC. I stopped dead in my tracks when I first laid eyes on this stunning bag. The sales associate advised me that the bag had only been sitting on the shelf for 30 minutes before low and behold, I walked through those doors. Whether or not that was true, I couldn’t stand the thought of the sleepless nights I would have without this beautiful new found Celine Leopard Luggage Tote. I proceeded to dish out the $3500 so we could be together forever, then took a couple memorable photos from my hotel room in NYC. You’ll probably be seeing a lot of this bag around here. xoxo

The Alaia Azzedine Calf Hair Platform Hiking Boots debuted in the 2010 Fall Collection and was sold out all over the world. I dreamed of a black or grey pair and searched high and low but could never find them in my size. Well the shoe heavens up above must have heard my prayers and graced my life with these black & grey Zebra print pair from the 2011 Fall Collection. I had a chance to wear these during LF Fashion Week and are the most comfortable boots to have ever bounced beneath my feet. Available at The Room at the Bay for $1920.

It’s that time again. LG Fashion Week in Toronto gives me an opportunity to mingle with probably the only crowd in the city that cares so much about what everyone else is wearing. It’s fun to spot all the Louis Vuitton & Chanel bags that my customers’ purchased at Fashionably Yours. I finally wore the leopard blazer I scored at Jac Flash (and I bumped into Jac while I was wearing it). I caved and bought another pair of Lady Daf Platform shoes. Random thoughts. My obsession with Lady Daf’s will never die.

Before I finally gave in to the pressure of my beating heart and purchased my Hermes Orange Birkin 35, I tested out the waters (and my wallet) with this beautiful Hermes Red Kelly 32cm Bag. I’ve had a love affair with red bags for years and clearly it’s going to be a lifetime affair. A Hermes Kelly bag takes 18hrs to produce and is made by one single craftsman. So to whomever took the time to delicately craft my red Kelly bag, know that I appreciate every tender loving minute you spent on it. xo

I brought my little puppy CC (aka Chloe Chanel) along with us on a road trip to NYC. I wasn’t sure how she was going to handle traveling but she was so well behaved, happy and cute as ever.

My dear friend DJ WIKKED spent a few weeks as guest DJ at Tanta SXM (St. Maarten), so of course Ania & I rolled through to support. It was good times all around in SXM. This super cute pink romper by Rachel Roy has been sitting in my closet waiting for somewhere fun to rock it.
