I really needed a classic pair of aviators for fall, then voila, these Tom Ford Aviators came along. Not my usual fancy shmancy sunnies, but I’m diggin’ them.

I’m really enjoying my Ted Lapidus Vintage Frames, apparently one of the most iconic glasses to ever exist and the originator of the bamboo edges, imitated by so many brands. The Paris label dominated the Haute Couture Parisienne in the 70’s and became an elemental accessory with the high society, favored by Brigitte Bardot as well as John Lennon.

I’m a big fan of fun and fancy eyewear, mostly because it gives me another way to feed my obsession with accessories, whether shoes or sunglasses. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 Sunglasses Collection for Spring 2011, especially one of the six acetate, over-sized cat eye or circular frames, reasonably priced from $110-$195. Cartier represents pure luxury and is known for sinfully expensive jewelry and accessories. I miraculously scored a pair of vintage Cartier Santos Dumont aviator sunglasses in 18kt gold and platinum from Fashionably Yours. I especially love the signature Cartier fine details and you can just feel the impeccable quality. This rare find was likely sitting in someone’s Grandparents’ closet and are practically untouched, making this a prestigious addition to my rapidly growing eyewear collection. Sometimes I wear men’s sunglasses. I don’t discriminate when it comes to sunglasses. If it fits and they look good on me, I’ll rock’em. I wore these Dior Homme Black Tie 87/S aviator sunglasses this weekend (above). I love the smoky lenses and they fit me almost exactly like the Louis Vuitton Evidence Sunglasses (below) but with silver detailing instead of gold. Overall, they’re a little less flashy and not as many people have them, but I still think they’re both so necessary in my wardrobe. Which one do you prefer?

It was just another day at the office in this over-sized military jacket I scored from Topshop. The first ever Topshop location in Toronto launched earlier this year in June, inside the Ossington St retailer Jonathan & Olivia and although they don’t carry the full collection, the selection is hand picked by its owner Jackie O’brian and replenished every 2 weeks. I try to drop in for a visit at least once a month to see what’s new and have never left empty handed.

The Camilla Skovgaard saw wedge boots have been around a couple seasons now and despite it’s more than 5 inch wedge heel, they’re super duper comfortable. The signature saw rubber soles add an extra bounce to every step, making it hard to resist another pair of black wedges in my wardrobe.

Over the years, I have accumulated an extensive collection of EYEWEAR, so I decided to start sharing some of my favorites. I wore these Cazal 951 Sunglasses to the LANVIN x H&M Media Preview. I got these from Spectacle on Queen St, my super friendly FY neighbors who gets some of their fabulous frames my boy Corey Shapiro of Vintage Frames Company. Corey is responsible for outfitting some the hottest celebrities including Pharrell, Diddy, Rick Ross, Perez Hilton, Amber Rose and the never-ending list goes on and on. Amber Rose recently wore the limited edition red Cazal 951 Sunglasses in The Vintage Frames Company exclusive colorway during Paris Fashion Week.
