I spent my 2012 New Year’s Eve at Diddy‘s ‘Ciroc The New Year‘ Private Party inside his exquisite Miami Mansion. I knew my 2012 New Year’s Eve celebration was going to be a memorable one, just as soon I laid eyes on this beautiful Swarovski encrusted sequin cutout blush pink silk dress by Mandalay. This dress was yet another one of my amazing scores from Fashionably Yours and although I often pick outfits around my shoes, this year I flew to Miami in hopes to find the perfect shoes to go with this Cinderella worthy dress. I lucked out at Bal Harbour Shops with these oh-so-amazing Giuseppe Zanotti Swarovski ‘No Heel’ Platform Shoes. The dress and the shoes were two very good reasons to debut my Chanel ‘Tifanny Blue’ 2.55 Flap Bag...and oh, what a memorable night it was. I recently discovered an awesome collection called Factory, which debuted in Spring 2010 by Erik Hart, an American fashion designer, artist and musician. I wore this technicolor dress from his Fall/Winter 2010 collection, with cutout back and padded shoulders, which was perfect for a flashy night out in Las Vegas.

Speaking of flashy, I got a chance to wear this super heavy pearl & floral necklace from the Lanvin for H&M collection.

Spring comes early when your Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, who wore this gorgeous ensemble from the Lanvin Spring 2011 RTW Collection designed by Alber Elbaz, hot off the press from Paris Fashion Week! She wore this “head to toe Lanvin” outfit to Spike TV’s 2010 Scream Awards and continues to blow us away with her impressive red carpet looks. It pays to have friends in high places, especially when that place is called “Lanvin”, one of the hottest collections of the Spring 2011 season.

Speaking of Matthew Williamson, these are a few of my picks from Matthew Williamson Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The collection consisted of an array of textures & fabrics including fringe, snakeskin, floor length chiffon, hand crafted embellishments and gorgeous prints. The footwear of choice were chunky wooden platform clogs in a variety of colours, a contrast I always enjoy. I can’t wait to get my hands on the fringe jumpsuit and yellow fringe skirt. They both belong in the collection called ‘my closet’. Keep you posted. xo

I absolutely adored every single look from the J.Mendel S/S 2011 Collection shown on Sept 16 at MB Fashion Week in NYC. I would literally wear every single dress from this collection. I especially love the asymmetrical lines, the cutouts, the draping of the fabrics, the steel pale blue mixed with blush & nude and the mix of fur with the sheer. Simply a dreamy collection.

This is a typical scene for me to be strolling down the street on my way to Fashionably Yours, looking at my watch. It was one of the last Summer Sundays of the year and I was in a nostalgic mood, so I celebrated a picture perfect weekend with an eclectic mix of Vintage Louis Vuitton, NeoStyle, Chanel, Levi’s and more….

I love the ombre lens on these super over-sized NeoStyle Vintage Sunglasses…part of the Vintage Frames collection at Fashionably Yours.
I scored these amazing boots on one of my shopping sprees at Topshop in NYC. They remind me of the Chloe booties I wrote about last year but a bit higher and more platform. In other words, even better for me!!!

The Rachel Gilbert Trixy Cutout Crepe dress is simple but so fabulous with its graphic, cutout yolk. I can’t seem to get enough of all things cutout; from shoes to dresses, the cutout adds a little bit of edge to what would be a boring little LBD. Retails for $530 US.
Known for luxury fabrics and embellished hand beaded evening dresses, Rachel Gilbert is an Australian based designer, who previously worked as Head Designer for Nicky Hilton’s label based out of New York.
Wear this with: Chanel Patent Calfskin Classic Flap & Brian Atwood Balleto Platform Sandals
I’m sure we all have $10000 (give or take a few dollars) saved up in the cookie jar to scoop up this Balmain One Shoulder Ruffle Sequin Mini dress. Right? If not, I have no doubt you’ll be seeing a version of this dress redone by one of our favorite mainstream fashion houses in no time. My bet is on Zara.
Balmain obsessed…xoxo
