My home girl & Canadian rock starlet Fefe Dobson paid a long overdue visit to Fashionably Yours, on a mission for a classic Chanel bag (which obviously we have an abundance of). I’ve known Fefe for almost 10 years now. I worked with her way way back at the beginning of her career and she also opened one of my shows for Toronto Fashion Week a few years back. Not only is she a super talent, and love her music (Who doesn’t love Stuttering?) but she’s a super cool chick with her own fresh style. She has a hot new album coming out soon, so we decided kick it for LG Fashion Week, attend some shows together and get some fashion inspiration on the runway. We made it to the venue just in time to catch the Holt Renfrew Opening Show, then Arthur Mendonca & Lala Berlin. Great way to start off the week. Stacey Mackenzie, Canadian supermodel and another long time buddy who actually opened the first Fashion Show I ever styled for Toronto Fashion Week in 2002. You can find her making cameo appearances on Canada’s Next Top Model or having fun front row at LG Fashion Week. Pictured above capturing Fefe and I on video camera. It’s that time again. LG Fashion Week in Toronto gives me an opportunity to mingle with probably the only crowd in the city that cares so much about what everyone else is wearing. It’s fun to spot all the Louis Vuitton & Chanel bags that my customers’ purchased at Fashionably Yours. I finally wore the leopard blazer I scored at Jac Flash (and I bumped into Jac while I was wearing it). I caved and bought another pair of Lady Daf Platform shoes. Random thoughts. I’m a big fan of fun and fancy eyewear, mostly because it gives me another way to feed my obsession with accessories, whether shoes or sunglasses. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of Nicole Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 Sunglasses Collection for Spring 2011, especially one of the six acetate, over-sized cat eye or circular frames, reasonably priced from $110-$195. As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end” hence we made the best of our last night in Vegas and started our festivities nice and early, then unintentionally partied till the break of dawn. Not hard to do in Vegas. We even got some late night gambling time in and I actually won a few hundred buckaroos.

We attended the world premiere of Casino Jack starring Kevin Spacey, which took place at the Peepshow Theater, conveniently located inside our hotel Planet Hollywood.

After the movie, we had a memorable meal in a private room at Strip House Steakhouse inside Planet Hollywood and continued Ania‘s birthday celebration with yet another birthday cake…

More cake means more wishes!! I hope all your wishes come true Ania…xo

Kicked it with @DanaBrunetti, the producer of Casino Jack, Social Network, 21, etc, etc and president of Trigger Street Productions (the production company founded by Kevin Spacey in 1997).

Surrender at Encore is the new hot spot that opened on Memorial Day inside the Wynn Las Vegas. I highly recommend you check it out the next time you happen to be in Vegas. Twas good times.

We did a little more shopping the next day and said our sad goodbyes to birthday girl Ania.

Before we said our goodbyes, we scooped these 6 friendship bracelets from Intermix and we each got one in memory of our fun trip and time well spent with our dear friend Ania. I hate to admit it, but I love Vegas!

If there’s one place I always visit on my frequent trips to NYC, it’s Topshop and considering Toronto only just recently launched a mini Topshop inside the Toronto based retailer Jonathan & Olivia, I’ve managed to collect a ton of pieces from past collections (with much help from the Topshop Personal Shopping Service). Many of my favorites have been from their collaborations with hot designers such as Mark Fast, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Meadham Kirchhoff, Louise Goldin and Richard Nicoll. There’s always something so sentimentally special about collaborations of any kind.

Here’s a sneak peak at the Kate Moss Topshop Collection for Fall/Winter 2010. This will be the 36-yr old super model’s final collection after 14 collections over four years, inspired by her own Boho-meets-Seventies rock style. This shaggy hooded cardigan is all I need to get me through the Canadian winter. The other pieces include a “fringe embroidery dress” & and a low cut Indian mini dress, but neither are not nearly as notable as this cardigan.
