I’m a little obsessed with Fendi bikinis lately. I first discovered them in a cute little boutique in SXM and have been on a hunt for more ever since. This one’s my favourite with the monogram print and color block trim. Buying bikinis has always been a chore, not just because of the drudging task of finding one that flatters your body, but also because it’s a bit of a challenge (in Canada at least) to find sexy Brazilian cut bottoms. Fendi makes them just right. Now, back to the real world…it’s freezing out today. xo

I wore this outfit to the Franke 10 Year Anniversary Photoshoot, which was held at the stunning new Bisha Hotel & Residences. on Friday, March 18/2011. With the warmer weather creeping us on us, I was looking for an excuse wear my Topshop cape.

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos from the Franke 10 Year Anniversary Photoshoot held at the luxurious new Bisha Hotel & Residences presentation centre this past Friday. Franke is a luxury label created by my dear friend and designer Kendra Francis. I was honored when she asked me to be amongst a group of dynamic Canadian women to appear in her 10 year Anniversary Photoshoot, shot by the very talented photographer Richard Dubois. The list of women included various women doing their thing in their perspective careers including Kim Davis (singer), Melissa Austria (Owner, Got Style), Drea Vujovik (Project Runway), Jennifer Ferreira (Interior Designer), Pastel Supernova (Singer), Natalie Brown (actress), and Sarah Nicole Prickett (writer). Considering I’ve spent much of my fashion styling career dressing people and getting others dolled up, it was nice to be on the receiving end and had such a blast. What a fun way to spend the day!!

I wore this outfit to my FY Xmas Potluck and since I always try to wear a pop of red on Xmas, I rocked my red Versace platform booties with this Michael Kors rabbit fur vest atop this Helmut Lang super cozy over-sized sweater. As you can see, I wasn’t kidding about my cross-body bag obsession. I just couldn’t resist this calf hair leopard chain cross-body bag by Stuart Weitzman. I discovered it whilst Xmas shopping for loved ones.

Apparently this Lanvin for H&M T-shirt was selling on ebay for $1500. Now, I totally get that it’s super cute and was clearly sold out worldwide for a reason, but $1500 is unreasonable considering it originally only cost $49.99. I guess for the people that waited in line to score from this collection, TIME is MONEY!!! Anyhow, I’m glad I scored this tee. Who knows? I may decide to sell it at Fashionably Yours soon. If you read my blog, you may already know about my red shoe fetish, so whilst shopping at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, I stumbled upon these amazing red platform booties at the Versace store and I just couldn’t resist. They are so super comfy and are great for those chilly nights when I don’t feel like wearing sky high pumps.

I recently discovered an awesome collection called Factory, which debuted in Spring 2010 by Erik Hart, an American fashion designer, artist and musician. I wore this technicolor dress from his Fall/Winter 2010 collection, with cutout back and padded shoulders, which was perfect for a flashy night out in Las Vegas.

Speaking of flashy, I got a chance to wear this super heavy pearl & floral necklace from the Lanvin for H&M collection.

I wore this cosy cape yesterday to the Kate Moss for Topshop & Topshop Media Preview at Jonathan & Olivia. I’m obsessed with big oversized knits this season, but the only problem is that it’s been an unusually warm November, so I haven’t had much opportunity to wear any of them. I’m secretly looking forward to a cool December. xoxo

Speaking of X-mas gifts, Michael Kors makes a great line of watches in an array of fabulous finishes for him or her. These are gonna be a big hit this X-mas and start at about $300. I opted for a fun leopard one.

Last night, I attended the Media Preview for the launch of Kate Moss for Topshop, Topman & Topshop Makeup at Jonathan & Olivia (located at 49 Ossington in Toronto). The collections debut to the public today so be sure to swing by and check it out. You must know by now that I love Topshop, so I rolled through to do some private shopping and as per usual, scored some amazing pieces, including some fancy Topshop nail polish from their new makeup collection. You’ll see.
