On Friday, November 12, I attended the second annual Frocktail Party, a stylish evening in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which took place at 99 Sudbury in Toronto. Frocktail, not your average charity event, is an auction of hundreds of designer dresses, donated by celebrities, retailers, and designers, combined with cocktails and an evening of dancing. Fashionably Yours donated a Missoni dress (below) for the cause and appraised the dresses before the event. All the dresses that didn’t sell at the event are now available at Fashionably Yours and the proceeds will go to the JDRF. I actually won the bid on an amazing dress!!! I’ll be sure to show you when I wear it. xo

Headed by Jessica Oliver (above), Ali Reid, Jen Foster, Sabrina Carr, Christina Perreault, Vanessa Oliver, Lorraine Forster, Amy Douglas, Jackie Harkness, Dia Makrimichalos, Ashley Audet, Stephanie English, Rachel Hulme, Cachelle Odette Fry, Kelley Molyneux and Jen Riley…friends who put their hearts and heads together for a good cause. Vanessa was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at six-years old and has lived with daily insulin injections, finger pokes, insulin pump and the worry of long-term complications every day for the past 25 years.

Fashionably Yours donated this emerald green Missoni dress…

And it SOLD to the highest bidder!!

Designer, Kirk Pickersgill of Greta Constatine donated several gorgeous dresses, including one worn by Coco Rocha in their Spring Summer 2011 Fashion Show!

@GetJanet, @SisiPenaloza, Stephen Wong of @Greta Constatine, and Kristin. Sisi is the founder of Woman.ca and is now the spa writer for the Globe & Mail. I’ve known Sisi since grade school and she has always been an amazing writer.

Just one of the hundreds of celebrity donation dresses, worn by Stephanie Pratt from the Hills.

Greta Constatine donated this gorgeous gown, worn by Coco Rocha at their Spring 2011 Fashion Show and this hot pink dress.

This purple & silver Herve Leger dress was auctioned off and is just like the one seen on Victoria Beckham and at Fashionably Yours. There were a ton of bids on the Herve Leger dresses, understandably.

With Kristin, my super cute real estate agent who’s about to find me a new crib & office, hence my delayed blog posts lately!!
