EVENT: 2010 MMVA After Parties

The MMVA‘s has always been one of my favourite events in Toronto, not so much because the awards themselves, but the after parties have always proven to be entertaining to say the least. In 2008, I worked with Rihanna backstage and in 2009, you might remember the video footage I captured of the Perez Hilton & WillIAM scuffle I “caught on tape” then sold to TMZ, hence I’m a big fan of the MMVA‘s!! lol.

This year for the 2010 Much Music Video Awards, I decided to hop around and give my #1 FY boy Jaystrut a real taste of what all the MMVA parties are like. We started at Drakes after party at Muzik, then hopped over to This Is London to kick it with the Universal & UOMO fam, then as tradition will have it, spent some time on the Ultra Patio where the official MMVA after party takes place every year. We opted out of attending the Perez Hilton madness at Opera house and ended our night back at Muzik again and witnessed the Drake x Lebron x Muzik takeover. You know it’s a really special occasion when they play hip hop all night at Muzik. What a fun night!

We ran into one of our pretty FY customers rocking this gorgeous dress she scored at FY!!! We actually ran into several FY regular rockin their MMVA best courtesy of Fashionably Yours. I love seeing my customers looking sexy in the streets.
