EVENT PIX: Drake – Toronto concert & after party

On Wednesday night (May 13/09), our much loved Drizzy Drake performed @ The Sound Academy, to an anxious hometown Toronto crowd, a crowd of 2000 plus friends, fam and fans. Drake continues to make Tdot proud as we all watched in awe, history in the making, the making of an international superstar, that is. I had the best seat in the house, behind the DJ booth, where you could literally feel the love in the air, the love of his peers and fellow Canadian rap artists Kardinal Offishall, Page, Bishop, Ken Masters, and Saucrates who surrounded me on stage with their Flip video cameras, careful not to miss a moment of what’s about to become one of the biggest phenomenons to ever come out of Toronto.

One day, we will all be able to say we witnessed it all go down.

After the concert, we all headed to C-lounge for a little after partying, then after the party was the after party, where loved ones gathered to congratulate Toronto’s very own Drizzy Drake. xo
